More About Maddie McCully and Her Journey to Becoming a Professional Golfer
At the age of 13, Maddie touched her first club and set her goal of being on the LPGA as a professional golfer. She received her first set of clubs for her birthday, in order to reach her goal, she was home schooled. She would take her school materials and her golf clubs to the course each day to work on her craft.
At the age of 15, Maddie played in her first Junior tournament. She found great success with many wins. Low tournament round came at Reston National Golf Course, when she shot first round 64 (-8) and finished the second day with a 74 (+2).
At the age of 19, Maddie turned her eyes on turning professional.
Her home golf course is Raspberry Falls Golf and Hunt club. Maddie is coached by Patrick McGuire.
